Sweet Betrayal - Part 2

Greetings folks.  Here is part 2 of Sweet Betrayal, the sequel to An Offer I Could Not Refuse. If you haven't read Offer, click here.  First part of Sweet Betrayal is here.  Raviele After three human months of staying out of human sight, I felt it time to introduce my new lover to the world. I’d made a spot for him as CFO of the company and found a new position for the current one elsewhere. Aaron knew everything about this job and would be able to perform it effectively. It was time for a change anyway because his predecessor and I hadn’t seen things eye to eye as of late. “Lover.” As I walked out of my office after sending notice to all my other presidents about the change in my company, I called Aaron. “Yes, Ravi?” Hearing the new alto tone in his voice brought a smile to my face. Not that it hadn’t before, but becoming a vampire made Aaron even a hundred times more attractive. I ambled into our bedroom, watching my lover dress in a three-piece blue suit with matching tie. His lighter eyes met my gaze and he flashed a toothy grin. “How do I look?” “Amazing.” I strode over to him, wrapping both arms around his waist. I pressed a light kiss to his cheek. “This blue is a good contrast to your eyes. The suit fits you so well, I wish to tear it off you.” Aaron chuckled. “Ah no. We have work to do, don’t we?” “We do.” I turned him around to face me. I pressed my forehead against his while running my hands down to his buttocks. When they arrived, I gripped them tight in my hands and squeezed them. “Sometime during the day, we will take a break, and I will enjoy you naked.” “Looking forward to it.” Aaron kissed my nose, then my lips. “I can’t wait to see the look on all my old co-workers faces.” “You’re looking forward to shocking them, hmm?” “Yes. I caught a lot of grief from some of these assholes.” “They think you’re dead,” I said, adding a chuckle. “Even more reason to allow them to see me.” Aaron snickered and ran his hands along my shoulders. “I need to teach a couple of them a lesson. “Ooh, you have a mean streak. I like it.” I smiled at him. Though it was against the rules of the government for vampires to kill breathers without due cause, many did it. There was always a reason why. Since a good amount of law enforcement were vampires, a good portion of the killings went unpunished. “I do. There’s no better way to get back at people who taunted me than by draining them dry,” Aaron said, showing his fangs. “I wholeheartedly agree with that sentiment,” I said with a grin. “In that case, let’s head to work.” After we untangled from one another, we headed downstairs to meet with my driver. The minute we stepped off the elevator, Aaron grasped my hand tightly. I glanced at him and smiled. “Laying your claim to me, hmm?” “Yes, as you have laid claim to me.” Aaron smirked and showed his white fangs. Looking at his incisors shining bright sent a disturbance to my groin. My lover was taking to his new role quite well. I couldn’t have been more pleased. “We better get going before I mount you in front of everyone here.” Aaron snorted and slid his sunglasses on. They were special shades to protect his eyes from the light. “I wouldn’t have any issue with that, Ravi.” I twisted my lips and brought his hand up to my mouth. Despite wanting him, I refrained and we ambled to the door to wait for the driver to pull up. Oscar tipped his cap at the both of us. “Good day, Sir and… Mr. Winston, I presume.” “Yes, Mr. Aaron Winston, soon to be Garland. Have a good day, Oscar.” Oscar smiled wryly and bowed his head in respect. “Yes, Sir, you do the same.” Aaron’s show of respect wasn’t a surprise, but his comment about being a Garland was. Not that he wasn’t, but I’d never known for a brand new chile to take his maker’s last name so quickly. Nevertheless, I was excited. Aaron would be the vampire I’d promised my father he would be. I couldn’t wait to show him off, not only to my Dad, but also to every elder who’d questions my ability to turn a vampire slayer’s son. When the driver arrived at the front of my building, he hopped out and instantly opened the door for the both of us. He tipped his cap in respect and closed it, then got back in to drive . “Aaron, what you said back there was glorious.” I grasped his hand, caressing the back of it. “Well, it’s true, right? You are the love of my life. I should take your last name.” “Yes, that’s absolutely true. We do not have ceremonies as humans do, but I will make one special in your honor.” “That’s not necessary, Raviele. I don’t need any fancy parties with our fellow vamps to celebrate. Only you and I, naked in our bedroom with a few humans to drain will do just fine.” Aroused by his words, I hissed and closed my eyes, picturing the scene my lover just painted. “That would be marvelous, my dear Aaron, but I wish to announce our union to all of our vampire brethren.” “Then send them an email, or perhaps, go the old-fashioned route of a wedding announcement in the mail,” Aaron laughed. “I’d much rather spend my time feeding on breathers than parading around in front other bloodsuckers. I smiled and swiped my tongue over the top of my teeth. My lover was even more vicious than I’d anticipated. Of course, new vamps were very bloodthirsty, sometimes to the point where they were uncontrollable. However, in the little time I’d kept him in our home, Aaron had shown impeccable restraint, telling me he was ready for the outside world. “Ah, my love. Those words you speak are correct, however, it is customary for a new vampire to be shown off by his maker. I tell you what. We will combine the two. At that event, where my father, mother, and sister will attend, we will inform the others of our bond. Complete with rings and all.” Aaron nodded and grinned. “That sounds like a better plan, Raviele. After the ceremony, we can have a party of our own.” “Yes.” My trousers tightened in the crotch, thinking of my wedding night. “Our honeymoon, I suppose.” “Yes. Complete with five breathers for us to share before we consummate our union again.” “I love how you think, my sweet.” I lifted his hand and kissed the back of it. Aaron’s words had fueled me. If we weren’t on our way to work, I’d immediately take him in this backseat with our driver watching. Aaron snickered. “That could be arranged, Ravi.” Then he turned to me again, blue eyes transforming to red. From that sight, I could tell he’d read my mind. “Maybe after we’re done with work for the day.” * * * Please check out the other authors doing the Wednesday Briefs on this site or visit their pages.
